E. coli Testing Results for June 10, 2026

Water Levels Continue to Drop, However at 4 Sites E. coli Levels Spiked

Wednesday 06.10.2026: Water levels in the Shenandoah River watershed continued to recede. Despite only sporadic rainfall across the region since the testing event last week, four specific monitoring locations exhibited a notable spike in E. coli levels, exceeding the EPA recommended safety threshold for primary body-contact recreation.
