Friends: This week’s testing results show the E. coli levels at all monitored sites, except one, were below the EPA’s recommended “do not exceed” threshold of 235 CFU per 100mL of water sample. As in most weeks this season, the Hawksbill Creek site exceeded this threshold, however this week only slightly. We continue to share these results to help keep our community informed and alert recreators when conditions exceed the EPA’s freshwater Beach Action Value (BAV).
