FOSR is committed to providing public access to our data

Friends of the Shenandoah River (FOSR) is committed to providing public access to our data. We provide unrestricted access to our Summer Weekly E. coli Testing Program results, and have made them available in four different formats to help community members easily access and understand this important information:

  1. Infographic summaries, such as this one for September 18, 2025: View Infographic

  2. Interactive WaterWatch Map created in partnership with The Downstream Project: Explore the Map

  3. Comprehensive spreadsheet of all weekly E. coli results for summer 2025: Download Spreadsheet

  4. QR codes for each monitoring location, which provide site-specific data: View Monitoring Locations

In partnership with The Downstream Project, FOSR and TDP have invested significant resources to ensure these vital data are available in a variety of user-friendly formats. FOSR’s goal is to help the community stay informed and better understand potential risks associated with water-based recreation during the summer months.

Help us keep FOSR’s Summer Weekly E. coli Testing Program running!

Your donation will help us to continue providing this important, timely, reliable water quality data each week  to keep you informed and safe all summer long.  Donate today!
